The new building is the yard’s hull number 529 and is scheduled to be deployed on the Flag route between Bergen and Stavanger.

In spite of the global financial downturn, there appears to be some room for innovation in the Italian shipbuilding industry.

Funded by the US Office of Naval Research Sea Warfare and Weapons Department, the vessel will be operated along the Cook Inlet by its owner, the Matanuska-Susitna Borough.
