Ghana Offshore to produce 55,000 Barrels per day

Tullow Oil PLC said Monday the Jubilee field offshore Ghana will flow its first oil on schedule Dec. 15 and will immediately be capable of producing 55,000 barrels a day. REpower Systems and the Belgian offshore project development company C-Power have signed a contract for the delivery of 48 REpower 6M turbines. Maersk Oil said Saturday it has been awarded a licence covering Block 9 in Baffin Bay, offshore West Greenland.
