Ensco sells two jackup drilling rigs ENSCO 50 and ENSCO 51

Ensco International has announced that its subsidiary company has sold two jackup drilling rigs, ‘ENSCO 50’ and ‘ENSCO 51’. Both are F&G L-780 MOD II-C designs built in the early 1980s.

François Perrodo, Chairman of Perenco, and Adolphe Moudiki, the Executive General Manager of the (Camaroon) National Hydrocarbons Corporation (NHC), have signed a production sharing contract for oil exploration in the Elombo block (former Ebodje permit) situated offshore in the Douala/Kribi-Campo basin, with a surface area of 2,405 square kilometres.

Bourbon has reported a net income of US$213 million for the full year 2009. Revenue growth for the year reflected two contrasting changes; the strong growth in offshore division revenues.
