CMA CGM to launch a new service route

CMA CGM Group will launch a new service connecting Asia, Fiji and New Zealand on July 18. Named ANZEX, the new weekly service will deploy seven 1,800TEU ships. The service rotation will be as follows: Port Kelang, Chiwan, Shangai, Pusan, Suva, Auckland, Port Chalmers, Lyttelton, Tauranga, Noumea and back to Port Kelang.

General Maritime Corporation announced yesterday that it has agreed to enter seven of its VLCCs into Seawolf Tankers, a commercial pool of VLCCs managed by Heidmar. Under the agreement, the ‘Genmar Vision’, ‘Genmar Zeus’ and ‘Genmar Ulysses’ will begin trading in the pool within the next 30 days.
