Brodosplit wins heavy lift ship order

Brodosplit Shipyard in Split, Croatia, has won an order for the construction of a heavy lift vessel for Jumbo Shipping. The new vessel will have a length of 152.60 metres and a beam of 27.40 metres and is equipped with a pair of 1,100-tonne cranes. In tandem, the cranes can lift up to 2,200 tonnes which would make it the strongest heavy lift vessel in the world.

COSCO Corporation has delivered two new bulk carriers to undisclosed Asian buyers. Both vessels are 57,000DWT bulk carriers measuring 189.99 metres in length overall and 32.26 metres in breadth.
