BP to Sell Colombian Assets for $1.9B to Ecopetrol.

BP has agreed to sell its oil and gas exploration, production and transportation business in Colombia to a consortium of Ecopetrol, Colombia’s national oil company (51 percent), and Talisman of Canada.

The Blueberry Hill No. 9 STK1 well has reached to a true vertical depth of 23,630 feet, identifying hydrocarbon-bearing sands measuring 105 feet.

Foster Wheeler has been awarded an owner’s engineer contract for a new LNG receiving terminal to be built in Montevideo, in the region of Río de la Plata, Uruguay.
