Alaska LNG plant shuts down
ConocoPhillips and Marathon Oil Corp. confirmed Wednesday that they plan to close the Kenai liquefied natural gas plant after more than 40 years in operation, citing market changes.
Anadarko Petroleum Corp. said on Thursday that it encountered about 240 feet of oil, condensate, and natural gas in an offshore exploration well near Ghana.
